This is too often the case when the phone rings for me with a new client telling me about what is going on with them. The first thing they tell me is that after what they thought was a health problem, they went to emergency and the doctor after a quick examination ruled out physical issues and prescribes a medication.

They then try some rituals such as eliminating foods and beverages that can trigger anxiety. It may include not going out with friends because being in a closed room feels like they are trapped.

If the anxiety is not controlled the next thing is pain. When a person can not release the hormones of stress, the body then reacts and the emotions get stuck in the body. I have demonstrated weekly in groups that we can bring the pain down in just a few minutes. This means that the pain is not really in the body but in the mind. Change thoughts and the pain goes away.

The longer the anxiety continues the more momentum the negative thoughts begin to take hold. The Law of Attraction states that what ever you focus on will bring more of it. It also says that when a thought has been thought about for a long time it will gain momentum. This is why some people get stuck in this chronic loop of negativity.
