There are really only 2 emotions. One that feels good and the other feels bad. The labels used to define them are really not that important. What you do to feel better is the only thing that counts. Sometimes life is not smooth. Things happen every day that can leave you feeling off. As an anxiety specialist I practice every day to find a better feeling. They say that achieving a good emotion is not permanent. It is a continuous journey of looking for reasons to feel good.
My daily routine starts with gratitude. I make a list of 10 or more things I am grateful for. It may be gratitude for a new client, a great session, a checque in the mail or a kind smile from a stranger.
I then do some tapping. Sometimes it is in the shower, in front of a mirror or on the couch. It seems that as I tap on whatever is going on I slow down and as well feel relief.
I meditate every day with the intention of raising my vibration. When I start, I sometimes ask my mind to help me feel good about what I have or inspire to right action in divine time.
I also often use the emotional scale from Abraham-Hicks to talk myself up from where I am to where I want to be emotionally.
As my day progresses, very often it weighs me down but the good news is that the next day, I can start again and move from a lower feeling that one feels better.
