Pain release with EFT

Pain follows thought

Over the years I have presented on the topic of pain and have done so to large groups of upward of 300 people or more. Before moving to far forward I ask for volunteers experiencing pain to come forth or at least to raise their hands. If I am talking to seniors, there is always 80% of the hands that come up. The first thing I explain is that pain is an indicator. Nothing to be ashamed of. Like a gas gauge in a car, if it shows little or no gas, it is not a good nor a bad thing. It is only an indicator. With pain, there generally exists two types. One is physical and the other is mental/emotional. Physical pain is useful when it is protecting you. For example you fracture a bone in your leg. If you ignore the pain and then run a marathon you may cause serious damage to your body. Now if instead you fracture that same bone and 20 years later you still have pain in the leg, the pain is no longer really in the physical but instead in the head.

Back to the large groups of people. I always ask those who have pain too measure it. On a scale from 0 to 10 how bad is it. I then show them how to tap on meridian points. In a group as they tap they think it is silly or stupid or just curious why I am having them do this. Generally it goes down a little. I then ask them where it is and to focus on that area. I ask them when it started, what was happening in their lives at the time. I asked them who was there and if they remember any other details. This is very important since this is when the trauma that got stuck in the body. Here is what happens next. When we change some details. For example when they are tapping I can sometimes make them laugh or smile. Sometimes I ask them to visualize it in a different color or give it a shape and then change the shape and color. Whatever happens, it always causes a release. If the body sees the event differently it reacts differently. Often years of pain is released in a moment.

As a skilled EFT practitioner, I have honed the skills needed. Because I had no other tools when I learned this method, I would use it on everything. I healed tooth aches, eyesight issues, anxiety and depression. It is always an inside job. Just like a treadmill, it works if you use it. Don't let the pain ruin your life. First do a session to learn how effective it can be and then use the learnings to do it for yourself. It is not hard.
